Janta M. Steele
Experience
After graduating from law school, Janta started her career in England with an international sugar manufacturing company, British Sugar. In 2013, she returned to British Columbia and worked as an assistant to provincial politicians, cabinet members, and government officials in Victoria and Vancouver.
In 2018, she started her practical legal training, and then was called to the British Columbia bar as a lawyer in January 2019. There, she most enjoyed working with individuals, helping them to solve everyday problems. Throughout COVID, she travelled from her home in Washington state to British Columbia to practice.
Since June, 2023, Janta has been practicing law much closer to her home in Lakewood, as an estate attorney.
She is very pleased to have joined Alliance Law Group in February, 2024.

Practices Styles
Janta particularly enjoys helping clients with probates, wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and guardianships. She prides herself on taking the time to understand your needs and objectives and addressing your unique situation and challenges.
Janta’s goal for all her clients is to give them the information they need to make decisions that work for them, and to resolve disputes with as little drama as possible. Janta tries to ensure that clients understand the process every step of the way, and promptly respond to additional questions as they arise.
After Five
On a more personal level, Janta is very involved in her church, including as a youth director. She strives to show care to others and walk out her Christian faith in all areas of her life. She is also a proud Canadian who is accustomed to taking a ribbing for her nationality. Since Janta was a child, she has dreamt of jumping horses, but for now some of her happiest moments are spent training and learning dog agility with her poodle, Coffee. She also can be found exploring the local parks and trails on foot and on her bike with her husband. If you’re very lucky, you may spot her being followed in Fort Steilacoom Park by her two black cats.
