Rebecca Reeder
Experience
Rebecca spent six years working at Miller & Dart, PS, initially as a legal intern and later as an associate attorney. She has been working at this firm since 2000 and has served as the managing partner since 2010. Rebecca has served as a Pierce County Superior Court Pro Tem commissioner since 2002, which gives her unique insight into numerous areas helping her advocate even better for clients
In 2016 we changed the name of the firm to Alliance Law Group. We wanted our firm name to represent our focus. Working with clients. Working with the opposing party and their attorney. Working on building SOLUTIONS to their legal issue(s), to see beyond conflicts. In a nutshell, we want to be the lawyers you will swear by, not at.

Practices Styles
Rebecca is most known locally for her work in the area of family law. She also works in other areas, notably handling probate cases all over the state, particularly when no will is involved and collection matters.
Rebecca’s goal for all of her clients, particularly in the area of family law, is to try to resolve their case early whenever possible. No one benefits from having their case linger as it just becomes more stressful and more expensive for everyone involved. She prides herself in being very direct with clients to ensure they have realistic expectations. The sooner we gather the necessary information for your case, the sooner we can make an offer of settlement and start working toward peaceful resolution instead of protracted litigation.
Rebecca tries to ensure that clients know the process every step of the way. However, she also understands when she is first hired, clients are often on information overload, often having just experienced a dramatic change in the make-up of their family and they may not absorb all of the information that is relayed to them initially. This procedure is often new to clients as well. If they are unsure of the process or next step – they should call or email Rebecca or her assistant with questions.
On a more personal level, there is nothing in my life more important to Rebecca than her own children. That will never change no matter what their age. Rebecca has spent countless hours volunteering in her children’s classrooms on Fridays or her day “off”. She has spent years coaching her children in baseball and soccer. Spending time with your children is the most important thing. This mirrors the priority of many of her clients – their children. Often her role as their legal advocate is working to maximize their time with their children. Rebecca’s role is also to work to ensure they have sufficient financial resources to meet their needs and those of their immediate family. Her role also is to ensure the emotional and physical safety of everyone involved in the best way possible. She understands the importance of her client’s priorities from her own personal and professional experiences and helps them address these important issues.
As part of her family law practice, she spends a lot of time either in court on behalf of her client or preparing for court. This is Rebecca’s single favorite part of her practice. She also likes that it gives clients a roadmap of what to expect while their case is pending.
After Five
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her two boys. She also enjoys traveling whenever possible, including within the Pacific Northwest, Hood Canal and destinations abroad. Rebecca also enjoys watching the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders and University of Washington football. Bottom line, Rebecca really just enjoys being outside doing almost anything in the sun.
Client Testimonial
This woman saved my life!
Rebecca Reeder is absolutely amazing! I was Divorcing a Narcissist about ten years ago and because of her perseverance, I was able to escape an abusive relationship with my child. It seemed like she was always one step ahead of his multiple attorneys. I will forever be grateful to her and her expertise.
